About Kopeck

Kopeck gives every month a budget and every expense a category, then shows what is left in one number. Add a flatmate or a partner and it tracks who paid for what and who owes whom.

You enter spending by hand or import a statement file from your bank. It never asks for your bank login, which keeps setup short and your credentials private.

What it does

  • One number

The home screen shows what is left to spend this month, with each category underneath.

  • Shared budgets

Split any expense evenly or by percentage. Balances between people update as you go.

  • Statement import

Reads CSV and OFX files from your bank and suggests a category for each line.

  • Bill reminders

Recurring bills appear a few days before they are due and are added when you confirm them.

New in version 3.5

  • Split an expense unevenly by percentage
  • A six-month spending chart
  • A home screen widget for what is left this month

What it gets right

  • Never asks for bank credentials
  • Splitting bills is built in
  • A clear monthly view with one headline number

Where it falls short

  • No automatic bank sync, so entries take effort
  • One currency per budget
  • Exporting reports needs Plus
